Marble Day registrations are also currently being taken at Moon Marble.
This is a competition for creating artwork utilizing marbles. For example, many people use marbles in mosaic or sun catchers. In what other ways could marbles be incorporated into sculpture and sculptural relief? How could you use marbles as a tool to make art? Marbles could also be the subject of a painting or photography. The possibilitites are endless.
Competition Guidelines
One or more glass marbles must be utilized as a part of each entry.
Inappropriate or potentially dangerous exhibits will be disapproved by the judges.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division
Location
Centennial Park, set up time 9-10am, judging will follow
opening ceremony. Award ceremony will follow the Pinky Ball Run.
Marble tournament will take place in Centennial Park. This event is for ages 7-15, and will allow participants to compete against each other in a game called ringer.
